ABOUT
Paresh Jaini is a psychiatrist double board-certified in adult and child & adolescent psychiatry. He earned his medical degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, completed his psychiatry residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, and served as Chief Fellow in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where he holds an appointment as an adjunct assistant professor of psychiatry.
He works with adults, adolescents, and children. His training also runs through integrative and lifestyle psychiatry, a dedicated fellowship and a long focus on how sleep, nutrition, movement, and the daily patterns of life shape mental health alongside medication. Much of his published research examines exactly that, the role of lifestyle in treating depression and supporting recovery over time.
He treats the first visit as the start of the work, not the end of it. He takes a full history, explains his reasoning, and revisits decisions as he learns how a treatment is actually working.
