ABOUT
Sidonia Buchtova is a physician assistant specializing in women's mental health and reproductive psychiatry. She earned her Master of Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies with honors from South College and holds a subspecialty certification in reproductive health and infertility (C-RHI). She trained in psychiatry under Dr. Christy Vadakkan. She cares for women across the full span of their reproductive lives, from menstruation through pregnancy and into perimenopause and menopause, with particular attention to the connection between hormones and mental health. She is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and specializes in supporting women experiencing pregnancy loss, infertility, and the emotional challenges of fertility treatment.
She approaches the work as caring for the whole person, with hormones, mood, and sleep understood together rather than treating any one symptom in isolation.
